Eyebrow Lift

What is Brow Lifting?

Brow lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure aimed at reducing forehead wrinkles, lifting sagging brows, and giving the eye area a younger, more rested look. This procedure corrects the position and shape of the brows, resulting in a more youthful and vibrant expression.

Why is it done?

Brow lift surgery is used to treat the following conditions:

Treatment Process

Assessment: During the initial consultation, the surgeon evaluates the patient’s eyebrow and forehead structure. A detailed discussion is held regarding the patient’s expectations and aesthetic goals.

Preparation: In the pre-operative preparation phase, the patient’s general health is assessed, and the surgery date is determined. It is recommended to pay attention to factors such as smoking and alcohol use before surgery.

Surgery: Eyebrow lifting is usually performed under general or local anesthesia. The surgeon makes incisions along the hairline or just above the eyebrows, lifts the eyebrows, and removes excess skin and fat tissue. The incisions are then carefully closed.

Recovery Process: The post-operative recovery process can vary from person to person. Swelling and bruising may occur in the first few days. Keeping the head elevated and avoiding certain activities are important during the healing process. Full recovery usually takes several weeks.

Results

After a brow lift operation, the forehead becomes smoother, the eyebrows are lifted, and the area around the eyes looks younger and more rested. The effects of the surgery are long-lasting.

Risks and Complications

Brow lifts, like any surgical procedure, carry some risks. These risks may include infection, bleeding, complications from anesthesia, scarring, nerve damage, and asymmetry. An experienced plastic surgeon will take the necessary precautions to minimize these risks and achieve the best results.
